Do I need to reserve a seat for my infant?

The fees for infants under the age of two (2) years (on the date of travel) but above eight (8) days old are provided for in the fee schedule.

An infant may travel provided he or she sits on an adult's lap. Only one (1) infant is allowed for one (1) adult.

The number of infants is limited per flight due to safety regulations and as such, there may be a possibility that AirAsia may not be able to accommodate a request to carry infants on board.

What is the baggage allowance for my infant?

There is no baggage allowance for infants, although a pram/buggy will be carried free of charge.

Baby buggies, manual wheelchairs, mobility devices and walking frames are carried free of charge.

If your device does not have the labels noted above, you will not be allowed to use it during take-off, landing, and surface movements. This includes booster seats and other types of harnesses.

What infant amenities are available on the aircraft I'll be flying (i.e. bassinets, diaper changing tables)?

If it is present, clicking on it will tell you what infant services are available on that airplane. If you do not see it, infant amenities are not offered on that aircraft. Can I sit in the exit row with my infant?

Federal Aviation Administration regulations state that no lap children or infant seats are allowed in an exit row and that all passengers in an exit row must be at least 15 years of age. In addition, infant seats are not allowed in the row directly in front of or directly behind an exit.
