What is Air Belgium's (KF) Unaccompanied Minor Service?

Air Belgium (KF) provides a service to care for children between 5 and 12 years of age.

What age does my child have to be to qualify as an Unaccompanied Minor?

Children are considered to be travelling alone if they are not accompanied by a person over 18. The exception is if the accompanying adult (who is under 18 years of age) is the mother, father or legal guardian of the child.

What documents are needed?

  • Itinerary and boarding pass
  • Passport with recent picture of your child
  • Visa (if applicable)
  • Entry documents (if applicable)
  • Travel authorization from the parent
  • Complete contact information for the person dropping the child off at departure.
  • Complete contact information for the person authorized to collect the child upon arrival.
